Education at any age is a wonderful journey! The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UAH sponsors a scholarship fund which provides monetary assistance for UAHuntsville undergraduate and graduate students on their educational journey.

A scholarship is awarded each year to a deserving student. What a perfect way to contribute to the success of young people who will be responsible for the future of our country! We encourage you to seriously consider making a financial commitment to this very important scholarship fund.

You may contribute when you send in your membership application or you may contribute any time during the year. Brochures with contribution forms and pre-addressed envelopes are available in the publications rack in the hall just outside the OLLI office complex, room 322, in Madison Hall on the UAH campus. Optionally, download one of these (PDF) forms to print, complete and mail.

DVD Lending Library procedures

Borrower must be currently registered as a member of Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UAH. Available DVDs are featured in the Lending Library Listing Binder located on the bulletin-board in front of the OLLI office WH 133.

The borrrower selects title from the Lending Library List and then takes the following steps.
1. The office volunteer will obtain the appropriate DVD from the 4-draw file cabinet in the office and remove it from its envelope.
2. The envelope will have fields that the borrower must fill in: date, name, phone number, e-mail address and length of time they expect to have the DVD.
3. Attach the envelope to the clip board in front of the file draw.

• It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that if you are using any of the DVD's as a teaching tool, that you view it in it's entirety before class to insure that it is complete and free of defects.
• Most of the libraries DVD's are approximately 2 hours in length. The " From Yao to Mao" DVD's are 3 hours in length.
• It is suggested that the borrower play the DVD on a standard DVD player. If prompted for a region, use region #1
