DIVISION of CONTINUING EDUCATION UAHuntsville

The UAH Division of Continuing Education is the interface of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) with the University. OLLI is responsible to the Department of Continuing Education at UAHuntsville. Continuing Education provides classroom facilities on campus on a space available basis for approved curriculum.

To facilitate the performance of its duties to OLLI, Continuing Education has designated a University Program Coordinator and University Program Manager. The Program Manager provides support, assistance, and advice to OLLI. The Program Coordinator maintains the OLLI membership database and handles scheduling requests from OLLI members for use of the University designated space and other Continuing Education classrooms for OLLI classes and other on-campus activities.

Continuing Education is responsible for approving all courses, instructors, and activities planned by OLLI. Continuing Education promotes courses and programs to the OLLI membership through mailings and other approved means, including preparation and mailing of the Curriculum Catalogs each academic term.

The Continuing Education Business Office provides registration support for the classes being offered by OLLI. This includes collection of tuition fees, registering participants in each course and providing confirmation of registration to each participant via email or standard mail.
