What's the difference between a hobo and a bum?  What's the best way to find food if you have no money and you are traveling the rails?  How many songs have been written about railroads?  What is located on the 3rd floor of the Huntsville Historic Depot?  Where was the Buffalo soldier encampment when they were in Huntsville in 1897?  Who or what saved Huntsville from being destroyed during the occupation of 1862?

There are 32 OLLI members who can answer most of these questions after their day in Huntsville on November 1st hosted by the Special Events Committee.  The day was perfect; the weather 73 degrees, the food Hobo stew, the venue Huntsville Historic Depot, the presenters Historian Jacque Reeves, the  Depot staff led by Janice Phillips, the music by Gabe and Shirley, the OLLI hobos Richard Kramer and Dick Gilbert.  What a day to be just bumming around!

If you missed this one, hop aboard in the Springtime when YOU too can be a OLLI hobo for the day!!!!
